The project
The Whitsunday Skyway is a planned ropeway development at Airlie Beach in Queensland — the mainland gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. The gondola will carry visitors from the coast to elevated lookouts over the Coral Sea, creating a new year-round attraction in a destination already drawing strong international and domestic visitation.
The project follows Elevate’s develop-and-operate model: built with leading ropeway manufacturers to international standards, and operated long-term with the playbook our founding shareholder Grupo Iter has proven at Rio’s Sugarloaf Cable Car.
